K2 Program Details

K2 Program Details

 

Program Hours:  1:00-2:45

         We offer a flexible pick up time from 2:45-3:00 so that          parents with school-age children can time their K2 pick up          accordingly.

         Optional “Lunch Bunch” program: noon-1:00* for an          additional cost. Children should bring their own lunch.

 

Days**:  Tuesday and Thursday

             Monday and Wednesday will be added as needed

 

Sessions: 6-7 weeks, two afternoons/week

 

Childcare is available during “Lunch Bunch” and after 3:00 for an additional cost.

 

*Lunch Bunch is offered for parents who prefer to bring their child directly from morning kindergarten to K2.  We will have lunch together and some playtime while waiting for others to arrive at 1:00.  For Stapleton School families only, arrangements can be made to have us pick up children to bring them over to K2. 

 

**Initially the program is being offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, but we will add Mondays/Wednesdays if there is sufficient demand. It is also possible to have your child attend once a week.  Please let us know what your needs and preferences are!

 

 

 

 

 

 
K2: Adventures in Learning for Kindergartners

Sessions for 2010-2011 School Year

 

ONE: week of Sept. 20-Oct. 29, 2010

(6 weeks)

 

TWO: week of Nov. 1 – Dec. 17, 2010

(No class week of Thanksgiving)

(6 weeks)Please note:  Class will be held on Friday 10/15 to make up for missed class on 10/11.

 

THREE: week of Jan. 3 – Feb. 14, 2011

(6 weeks) Please note: Monday class will be held on 2/14 to make up for missed class on 1/17.

 

FOUR:  week of Feb. 28 – April 15, 2011

(7 weeks)

 

FIVE:  week of April 25 – June 6, 2011

(6 weeks) Please note: Monday class will be held on 6/6 to make up for missed class on 5/30.

 

Fees:

6 week sessions: $250 (includes materials fee)

7 week sessions: $290 (includes materials fee)

Lunch Bunch:  $10 per day for one hour, noon to 1:00pm.

   -You can do this on a regular or sporadic basis.  Please give us a minimum of a day’s notice.

    -Stapleton School pick up:  No extra charge other than Lunch Bunch charge.  However, you must make these arrangements well  in advance.

 

Additional childcare 3:00-4:00 pm: $7 per hour payable upon pick up or weekly.  We may be able to accommodate requests for childcare later than 4:00 pm.  Please let us know what your needs are.

 

Fees will be prorated for families who enroll during a session.
